The Permanent Observer Mission of the Holy See to the United Nations, made the following interventions during the 56th Session of the Council:

Item 3: Adoption of Resolutions, Explanation of Position of the Holy See

 

The Permanent  Observer Mission of the Holy See to the United also hosted the following side-event during the 56th Session:

At What Price? Towards the Abolition of Surrogacy 

A side event held on the sidelines of the Council which explored the root causes of surrogacy, the harms it generates and the ways in which the international community might begin to work together to end this exploitative practice.
