Researching and exploring emerging issues in the light of the Gospel and then bringing this work to life in the international arena, is the heart of the work and mission of the Caritas in Veritate Foundation.

Through its work, the Foundation aims to make the positions of the Catholic Church more understandable and more visible, thus impacting international law and culture. It does this by supporting the day-to-day advocacy work of the Holy See Mission, the Order of Malta and Catholic NGOs in Geneva. It conducts research into emerging international topics such as cyberspace, universal access to medicines, labour, the family, intellectual property etc. It then disseminates this knowledge through publications, events and other activities. Finally, it seeks to communicate the good works and impact of the extensive social service provided by Catholic-inspired institutions around the world, especially those projects which serve the most vulnerable.
